What are the functions of gas lift valve？
The functions of gas lift valve are: (1) gas injection channel (main function) during gas lift operation; (2) switch of gas injection hole on lifting string; (3) lower starting gas injection pressure is used to reduce the liquid level in well to the depth of gas injection point, and the production is carried out according to the expected production at this depth with the injection pressure required for normal operation; (4) It can flexibly change the gas injection depth to adapt to the change of liquid supply capacity of oil / gas wells; (5) using gas lift valve to change the lifting depth and increase the production pressure difference of oil wells, so as to clean the reservoir and remove pollution. Like other artificial lifting methods, gas lift can establish the required bottom hole flow pressure and achieve the expected discharge volume.
