What is the Falling-off preventor of sucker rod?
Falling-off preventor is used to prevent the sucker rod from tripping and prolong the pump inspection cycle. The sucker rod falling off preventor is mainly composed of an upper joint, a one-way mechanism, a jacket, a core rod, and a lower joint. Connect it to any appropriate position of the rod string and go down the well with the rod string. When the rod string is working, the axial load is transferred from the upper joint to the lower joint through the outer sleeve and the mandrel. When the rod string is subjected to the positive torque, the one-way mechanism is automatically locked and the upper joint and the mandrel are connected as one body. Relative rotation, so that the forward torque is transmitted to the entire rod string for buckling and pre-tightening.
