Story:
The national flag is rectangular and the ratio of length to width is 3:2. From top to bottom, the flag is composed of three parallel equal rectangles of red, white and green. Red symbolizes blood, but also a symbol of national independence and sovereignty; white symbolizes peace, on behalf of the people's desire to pursue freedom and light; green symbolizes Hungary's prosperity, but also a symbol of people's confidence in the future.
