The Sultanate of Oman national flag consisting of horizontal stripes of white, red, and green and, at the hoist, a vertical red stripe with the national coat of arms. The flag generally has a width-to-length ratio of 1 to 2, but ratios of 4 to 7 or 5 to 9 are sometimes used.

Story:
The national flag is rectangular and the ratio of length to width is 2:1. The flag is composed of red, white and green. The red part forms a horizontal "t" pattern on the flag surface. On the right side of the flag, there are white and green rectangles above and below, separated by red strips in the middle. The national emblem is painted on the top left. Red symbolizes good luck, white symbolizes peace and purity, and green symbolizes the earth.
