The Republic of Azerbaijan national flag,horizontally striped light blue, red, and green national flag with a central crescent and star. Its width-to-length proportion is 1 to 2.

Story:
The national flag is rectangular and the ratio of length to width is 5:3. From top to bottom, the flag is composed of three parallel equal rectangles of light blue, red and green. In the middle of the red part is a white crescent moon and a white star.
