The State of Palestine flag,de facto national flag consisting of three equal horizontal stripes from top to bottom of black, white, and green and a red triangle with its base along the hoist. The flag’s width-to-length ratio is 1 to 2.

Story:
The national flag is rectangular and the ratio of length to width is 2:1. The left side of the flag is red isosceles triangle, and the right side is black, white and green from top to bottom. Red symbolizes revolution, black symbolizes courage and tenacity, white symbolizes the purity of revolution, and green symbolizes faith. Red is connected with other three colors, indicating the characteristics and importance of Palestine's geographical position.
