Syrian national flag,horizontally striped red-white-black national flag with two green stars on the white stripe. The flag’s width-to-length ratio is 2 to 3.

Story:
The national flag is rectangular and the ratio of length to width is 3:2. From top to bottom, the flag is composed of three parallel rectangles of red, white and black. There are two green five pointed stars in the middle of the white part. Red symbolizes courage, white symbolizes purity and magnanimity, black symbolizes Muhammad's victory, five pointed star symbolizes revolution, and green is the favorite color of Muhammad's descendants.
