Flag of the Solomon Islands
The Solomon Islands national flag consisting of triangles of blue and green separated by a yellow diagonal stripe. In the upper hoist corner are five white stars. The flag has a width-to-length ratio of 1 to 2.
Story:
The national flag is rectangular and the ratio of length to width is 9:5. A yellow strip from the lower left corner to the upper right corner divides the flag into equal symmetrical right triangles. The upper left is a light blue triangle, and the lower right is a green triangle. The light blue part is painted with five white five pointed stars. Light blue symbolizes blue sky and ocean, yellow symbolizes sun, and green symbolizes forest. The five stars symbolize the five regions that make up the island country, namely east, West, center, maletta and other peripheral islands.
