Mali national flag,vertically striped green-yellow-red national flag. It has a width-to-length ratio of 2 to 3.

Story:
The national flag is rectangular and the ratio of length to width is 3:2. From left to right, the flag is composed of three equal vertical rectangles of green, yellow and red. Green is the color advocated by Muslims, and also symbolizes Mali's fertile oasis; yellow symbolizes Mali's mineral resources; red symbolizes the blood of martyrs who died fighting for the independence of the motherland. Green, yellow and red are known as Pan African colors, and they are also symbols of African unity.
