Benin national flag with horizontal stripes of yellow and red and, at the hoist, a vertical green stripe. It has a width-to-length ratio of 2 to 3.

Story:
The national flag is rectangular and the ratio of length to width is 3:2. The left side of the flag is a green vertical rectangle, and the right side is two horizontal rectangles with yellow on the top and red on the bottom. Green stands for hope, yellow for prosperity, and red for courage and courage. Green, yellow and red are called Pan African colors.
