The Sudan national flag,horizontally striped red-white-black national flag with a green hoist triangle. The flag’s width-to-length ratio is 1 to 2.

Story:
The national flag is rectangular and the ratio of length to width is 2:1. The left side of the flag is a green triangle, and the right side is a red, white and black three parallel wide strip. Red symbolizes revolution, white symbolizes peace, black symbolizes the southern residents of African black race, and green symbolizes the Islam that the northern residents believe in.
