Namibia national flag consisting of diagonal stripes of blue, red, and green separated by narrower white stripes. In the upper hoist corner is a golden sun. The flag has a width-to-length ratio of 2 to 3.

Story:
The national flag is rectangular and the ratio of length to width is 3:2. A red broad band with a white edge runs obliquely from the lower left corner to the upper right corner, dividing the flag into two symmetrical and equal right triangles of upper blue and lower green. The blue triangle is painted with a radiant golden sun. The sun symbolizes life and ability; the gold symbolizes warmth, plain and desert; the blue symbolizes sky, Atlantic Ocean, marine resources and water source; the red symbolizes hero, which means Namibian people are determined to build an equal future for all; the white symbolizes peace and unity; the green symbolizes plants and agriculture.
