Djibouti national flag consisting of a horizontal stripe of light blue over one of light green and, at the hoist, a white triangle bearing a red star. The flag’s width-to-length ratio is unspecified.

Story:
The national flag is rectangular and the ratio of length to width is about 2:1. On the left side of the flag is a white triangle, containing a red five pointed star; on the right side are two equal trapezoids of upper blue and lower green. White symbolizes peace; red five pointed star symbolizes the people's hope and the direction of struggle. Blue symbolizes the ocean and blue sky; green symbolizes the land. The central idea of the national flag is "unity, equality and peace".
