Eritrea national flag consisting of triangles of green, red, and blue and a yellow emblem off-centre toward the hoist. The flag’s width-to-length ratio is 1 to 2.

Story:
The national flag is rectangular and the ratio of length to width is 3:2. The flag consists of three triangles: green, red and blue. On the left is a red triangle with a yellow ring made of olive branches in the middle. The upper right corner is a green right triangle, and the lower right corner is a blue right triangle. Red symbolizes struggle for independence and liberation, yellow symbolizes mineral resources, olive branch symbolizes peace, green symbolizes agriculture and animal husbandry, and blue symbolizes rich marine resources and wealth.
