Ghana national flag,horizontally striped red-yellow-green national flag with a central black star. The width-to-length ratio of the flag is 2 to 3.

Story:
The national flag is rectangular and the ratio of length to width is 3:2. The flag is composed of three equal rectangles of red, yellow and green from top to bottom, with a black five pointed star in the center. Red symbolizes the blood of the soldiers who died for Ghana's independence; yellow symbolizes the rich mineral resources and the original name of Ghana, "Gold Coast"; green symbolizes forest and agriculture; black Pentagram symbolizes African freedom.
