Flag of the Republic of the Congo
The Republic of the Congo national flag consisting of a diagonal yellow stripe separating a green triangle at the hoist from a red triangle at the fly end. It has a width-to-length ratio of 2 to 3.
Story:
The national flag is rectangular and the ratio of length to width is 3:2. The flag is composed of green, yellow and red. A yellow broad band runs from the lower left corner to the upper right corner, dividing the flag into two symmetrical and equal right triangles. The upper left is green and the lower right is red. Green symbolizes forest resources and hope for the future, yellow represents honesty, tolerance and self-esteem, and red represents enthusiasm.
