The national flag is rectangular and the ratio of length to width is 3:2. From left to right, the flag is composed of three equal vertical rectangles of blue, yellow and red. Blue symbolizes blue sky, hope and life, as well as the south of the country; yellow symbolizes sunshine, as well as the north of the country; red represents progress, unity and dedication to the motherland.
