The national flag is rectangular and the ratio of length to width is 5:3. Red flag. A black wide band with a white edge runs obliquely from the upper left corner to the lower right corner, dividing the flag into two symmetrical and equal red right triangles. Red symbolizes the vitality of the country and the people, as well as warmth and the heat of the sun, representing courage and friendship. Black symbolizes strength, unity, national wealth and people's dedication. White symbolizes the future of the country and the ocean.
