Story:
The national flag is rectangular and the ratio of length to width is 3:2. It is composed of three triangles, two red right triangles on the left and right, and a big triangle composed of black, blue and white in the middle. In the middle of the black part is a half wheel of golden sun. Black symbolizes the people of the island - black and black-and-white people, red and "V" shape symbolizes the strength and victory of the people, the golden sun symbolizes the dawn of a new era, and blue symbolizes hope. Yellow, blue and white together symbolize the island's rich resources.
