Flag of Saint Kitts and Nevis
Saint Kitts and Nevis national flag consisting of a green triangle and a red triangle separated by a diagonal black stripe with yellow fimbriations (narrow borders); included in the stripe are two white stars. The flag has a width-to-length ratio of approximately 2 to 3.
Story:
The national flag is rectangular and the ratio of length to width is 3:2. The upper left corner and the lower right corner of the flag are two equal and symmetrical triangles; the upper left corner is green, the lower right corner is red, and a black wide band with yellow edge runs obliquely from the lower left corner to the upper right corner. Green symbolizes green land and various crops, red symbolizes the rebirth of the country after independence, yellow symbolizes sunshine, and black symbolizes that the island country is mainly black. Two white five pointed stars symbolize Saint Kitts island and Nevis island.
