Story:
The national flag is rectangular and the ratio of length to width is 2:1. On the left side of the flag is a red equilateral triangle with a white five pointed star in the middle; on the right side, the flag is made up of five wide strips of blue, white, blue, white and blue. The five pointed star symbolizes that Cuba is an independent nation. Triangle and star are the symbols of Cuba's secret revolutionary organization, symbolizing freedom, equality and fraternity. Red symbolizes the blood of patriots. The three blue stripes indicate that Cuba was formed in three parts, and the white stripes represent the pure ideal of the Cuban people.
