Guangzhou Gas Group Co., Ltd. is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Guangzhou Development Group Co., Ltd. By the end of 2008, the company had more than 3.1 billion yuan of fixed assets, 2150 km of gas transmission and distribution network, more than 30 service outlets, more than 1 million customers, and 350 million cubic meters of pipeline gas supply (including distribution households) in the whole year. After Guangzhou Gas Company was transferred to Guangzhou Development Group on January 16, 2009, it restructured the company in accordance with the requirements of modern enterprise system.
