China Resources Cement Holdings Limited was incorporated as an exempted limited company in the Caymans on March 13, 2003 under the companies law of the Caymans and is the holding company of all cement and concrete businesses of China Resources Group. The company was listed on the main board of the stock exchange of Hong Kong Limited by way of introduction on July 29, 2003. In 2006, the company was privatized by China Resources (Group) Co., Ltd. and became a wholly-owned subsidiary of Shun Chuang Investment Co., Ltd. (now known as China Resources (cement) Co., Ltd.), and its listing status on the stock exchange was revoked on July 26, 2006. The company was re listed on the main board of the stock exchange on October 6, 2009 in the form of a global offering. As at the date of this report, the total number of issued shares of the company is 6532937817, of which China Resources Group holds about 73.35% of the issued shares of the company.
