Founded in 1999, Saint Gobain gypsum building materials (Shanghai) Co., Ltd. is a wholly-owned enterprise of the group in China. The production base is located in the south of Jinqiao Development Zone, Pudong New Area, Shanghai, with an annual output of 20 million square meters of high-quality gypsum board. In 2005, Saint Gobain gypsum building materials (Changzhou) Co., Ltd. was established, with an annual output of 30 million square meters of high-quality gypsum board.
At present, Saint Gobain gypsum building materials mainly produces gypsum board system, architectural plastering gypsum, thermal insulation materials and ceiling products, providing beautiful, thermal insulation, sound insulation, comfort, safety, environmental protection and innovative indoor building system solutions.
Saint Gobain gypsum building materials has passed the ISO9001 quality certification system, and all the materials provided exceed the Chinese national standards. The company obtained the national green environmental protection ten ring certification in 2009. In Changzhou, the group has the first Asian acoustic laboratory, with the leading international acoustic testing, design, research and development capabilities. The product system is widely used in office buildings, hotels, hospitals, schools, commercial outlets, residential plants and other projects. The system can meet the requirements of 30-330 minutes (non limit) fire protection, 39-62 dB sound insulation and thermal insulation of indoor buildings.
