Headquartered in tanchao town near Munich, Germany, schatter company was founded by Mr. Walter schatter in 1985, focusing on the design and printing of decorative paper. It is a reliable partner of many furniture, cabinet, laminate flooring and wood-based panel veneer manufacturers in the world.
Shatter group has set up production bases in Germany, Poland, Italy, Russia, China, Brazil, Turkey and the United States, with more than 1200 employees, 31 printing presses and 12 experimental proofing machines. By the end of 2010, the printing volume of decorative paper of the group was 105000 tons, the production volume of paint paper was 270 million square meters, and the sales volume exceeded 440 million euro.
In 1996, XIATE set up a sales agency in the Chinese market. In 2001, XIATE invested and established a production base in Shanghai to meet the growing market demand. From 2005 to 2006, XIATE completed the installation and commissioning of the production line of paint paper and edge banding, and provided the second phase expansion of the production plant of paint paper and edge banding for customers. Shanghai factory has more than 100 employees, 3 large-scale printing presses, storage equipment and administrative center, providing high-quality decorative paper with wood grain, stone grain and abstract pattern for customers in China and Southeast Asia.

1985: Walter shatter founded shatter business in stephanskirchen, ziegelberg, Upper Bavaria.
1989: a new production enterprise was set up in tanchao, rohrdorf town (tanchao 1).
1993: maltarprint, a Polish decorative paper printing plant, was established as a joint venture to lay the foundation for expanding international business.
1995: enter the Italian market. Take over cartiere sottrici Binda decorative paper printing enterprise in Milan.
1997: set up a new production enterprise in ROSAT, Italy.
1998: shares in arcolor, a pigment manufacturer in waldstatt, Switzerland.
2001: set up a branch in Shanghai, China.
2002: set up a joint venture PANSA decoration materials Co., Ltd. in Russia to produce decorative paper products; set up a new production base in Pudong, Shanghai. Luotuo machinery manufacturing company was established as a subsidiary of shatter group in batsar group.
2003: acquired pertec, a paint paper manufacturer in EMBU, Brazil.

2010: from the beginning of this year, shatter group has grown from the economic crisis and celebrated its 25th anniversary on April 26. In addition, in April, the company opened a new sales agency in Greece.
New investment in the US and Turkey is on schedule.
The Russian branch celebrated its 10th anniversary in October of that year. On December 3, 2010, Chater's Turkish branch in gebuze / Istanbul produced decorative paper.
At the annual meeting, Mr. Schultz, the president of the group, announced the results of the employee satisfaction survey conducted in tanchao. The results of the employee satisfaction survey are satisfactory. Of course, there are some areas that need to be improved.
The year ended with the retirement of Hartwig dickten, sales director, and the new appointment of Roland Auer, sales and marketing director, with annual sales of 440 million euros.
2011: in this new year, a new paint production line is put into operation at the gruwaz plant in Poland, so Chater can now show the world the powerful production of pre impregnated decorative paper. In addition, the newly built factory in St. Louis of the United States began to start at the beginning of the year. In the spring of this year, in the production base of Russia's Qiuming, Chater invested in another impregnation line.
Schatter showed off new digital visions by schattdecor products at EUROSHOP and Interzum. Interzum exhibition held in Cologne is another great success. With its new 3D imaging technology, shatter has become a highlight of the future oriented decorative paper decor. Inauguration ceremonies were held in Istanbul, Turkey and St. Louis, USA. In autumn, Chateau successfully held ZOW exhibition in Istanbul, sICAM exhibition in Italy and mebel exhibition in Moscow.
