Operation steps for adjusting the internal expansion brake of the rod pumping unit
(1) Stop in the free position and pull the adjusting nut of the tie rod system to adjust the length of the tie rod.
(2) Keep the cam of the expansion brake at a sufficient rotation angle to match the stroke angle of the brake lever.
(3) When the brake lever is pushed to the loose, the brake band will all leave the brake wheel, and when the brake lever is pulled back to 2/3 of the full stroke, the brake bands will all expand and tighten the brake.
(4) Start the rod pumping unit to test the brakes, and the brakes will not be scratched or worn when loosened, and the brakes will be flexible and reliable (using 1/3 to 2/3 of the full brake stroke).
Operation steps for adjusting the external holding brake of the rod pumping unit
(1) Stop in the free position, hang the brake safety lock block, pull the adjustment nut of the pull rod system, and adjust the length of the pull rod.
(2) Ensure that there is a small gap of 1.5-2mm between the brake band and the brake wheel, and pay attention to the two halves of the brake shoes to be tightened or loosened at the same time. Try to brake until it is loose, so that the brake band and the brake wheel are all separated. When the full stroke of the brake is 2/3, the brake belt is fully locked, and the contact surface of the brake belt is more than 80%, otherwise it needs to be re-adjusted.
(3) Start the rod pumping unit to test the brake. When the brake is loose, it will not be scratched or worn, and the brake will be flexible and reliable (using 1/3 to 2/3 of the full brake stroke).
