China Aero-Engine Controls Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as the “Company”) is a reorganized joint stock limited company set up in September 2010 through major asset restructuring from South Astronautics Industry Co., Ltd. The company headquarter is located in Wuxi. It has four wholly owned subsidiaries in Xi’an, Guiyang, Beijing, and Changchun; it has a holding subsidiary in Wuxi.

The Company has three major business segments: Engine Control Systems and Components; International Cooperation, and Non-aeronautic Products. Among which, the Engine Control Systems and Components mainly include the development, production, repair and sale of aero-engine control systems and derivative products, accounting for about 80% of year revenue; International Cooperation mainly provides subcontracted production of precision components and parts for civil aviation control systems to well-known foreign aviation companies, accounting for about 10% of the year revenue; Non-aerospace Products business mainly involves development, production, sales and services based the core technology of power control system, including gas turbine control, new energy control, automatic transmission control, engineering and walking machinery and other ancillary products, accounting for about 10% of the year revenue.

From the industrial chain perspective, the Company’s industrial chain covers five major links: the development, production, testing, sales, and maintenance. The main business of International cooperation is aviation subcontracting. At present, joint development of aviation products is being actively developed.

From the business scope perspective, in order to better co-ordinate the implementation of "two machines" (Aero-Engines and Gas turbines) special projects, the Company further focus on aviation business, the main products are the aircraft engine control systems and components. The Company contracted some non-aeronautic products market which has low correlation with the main business, low added value of products and conflicts with the Company's resources.

Control system is the brain and nervous system of aero-engine. Merits of the control system are directly related to the performance and reliability of the aero-engine. As a major domestic aircraft engine control system development and manufacturing enterprise, the Company has always maintained leadership in military aircraft engine control systems. The Company is the development & production base of national aviation power control system and product. It has aviation power control system technology centers of national level, as well as national key laboratory and model specification laboratories. The Company has established stable and good relations of mutual trust with customers at home and abroad. It has significant advantages in technology leadership, mature team, and system construction.       1.Technology leadership: the Company has built a relatively complete professional system of aero-engine fuel and control system; it has accumulated relatively rich scientific research experience; it has industry-leading styling / identification laboratories; it has set up a "four in one" R & D system including designing, manufacture, verification, and service. It has provided technical support for the development and production of the national aviation equipment.       

2.The mature team: Driven by scientific research and production tasks, the Company created a domestic first-class team of experts. The Company focuses on personnel training and reserves, and has more than 2,000 technical personnel of scientific research and engineering of all kinds, and the number and ability of researchers is continued to improve.
