The company's founder, Hubei truck and bridge factory, was established in September 1978, formerly known as Hubei Gongan County auto parts factory, which is under the charge of Hubei Gongan County Industrial Bureau. In 1981, we began to produce Dongfeng brand automobile accessory products. In 1983, the company was approved by China National Automobile Corporation and accepted as a member of the National Auto Parts Joint Distribution Department. In the same year, EQ140 rear axle assembly, differential assembly and reducer assembly were trial produced and put into formal production after being appraised by Hubei Automobile Industry Corporation. In 1984, the enterprise changed its name to Hubei vehicle bridge factory. In 1986, the enterprise was approved by Dongfeng Motor joint venture company to become the designated production plant of the second automobile group, producing EQ140 active and passive gear, planetary gear, half shaft gear and EQ140 reducer assembly for it. In 1987, it officially became a member of the second automobile group, and huatong brand hc2015 and hc2015d agricultural transport vehicles passed the provincial appraisal. In 1988, with the approval of the economic system reform office of Hubei Provincial People's government [1988] No.6 document, Hubei vehicle and bridge factory reorganized and established Hubei vehicle and Bridge Co., Ltd., and with the approval of the people's Bank of China Hubei Branch [1988] No.17 document, Hubei vehicle and Bridge Factory raised 5.5 million shares from the public. Hubei vehicle and bridge factory converted 11.1 million yuan of its book assets into shares at par value. In June of the same year, Gong'an County Administration for Industry and Commerce registered and became a joint-stock pilot enterprise that issued shares to the public. In 1990, in order to expand the scale of production and solve the problem of capital shortage of the company, 3.04 million shares were allotted to the public shareholders with the approval of eyf [1990] No. 164 document issued by Hubei Branch of the people's Bank of China. In 1991, the output value of the enterprise exceeded 50 million yuan. The enterprise was rated as "advanced unit of economic benefits" by the people's Government of Hubei Province, and won the title of "star enterprise". In 1993, it was approved by the Hubei Provincial Commission for the reform of the economic system, e-ti-gai [1993] No. 158, to raise 10 million shares of legal person shares from the society, and to issue them at par, totaling 10 million yuan. In October 1993, according to the standardization requirements, the company hired Hubei asset appraisal company to evaluate and restructure the company's assets and adjust the share capital structure. After the confirmation and approval of the document (1993) No. 99 issued by Hubei Provincial State owned Assets Appraisal Office of the state owned assets administration of Hubei Province, the company converted the net assets of the value-added assets into the share capital. In December 1993, the State Commission for system reform confirmed the company as a social stock raising company for joint-stock system pilot with the document of system reform student (1993) No. 262 "reply on approving Hubei cheqiao Co., Ltd. to carry out standardized joint-stock enterprise pilot".
