Introduction to Baiyun Airport
Guangzhou Baiyun International Airport is one of the three major aviation hubs in China. It was built in the 1930s. It is located in the north of Guangzhou, at the junction of Renhe Town in Baiyun District and Xinhua Town in Huadu District. It covers an area of 18 square kilometers and is about 28 kilometers away from the center of Guangzhou. Since the transfer on August 5, 2004, all kinds of business of the airport have developed rapidly. In the year of transfer, the passenger throughput exceeded 20 million person times. Main facilities
Baiyun Airport has two terminal buildings and three runways. The flight area is 4f standard, which can meet the needs of A380 and other large wide body airliners. There are 269 standard stands (including FBO). The construction area of T1 terminal is more than 500000 square meters, and that of T2 terminal and comprehensive transportation center is more than 800000 square meters. At present, the design capacity of T1 and T2 terminals can meet the annual passenger throughput of 80 million. The construction area of the comprehensive transportation center is more than 200000 square meters. The north airport station, urban and long-distance bus and taxi loading area of Guangzhou Metro Line 3, as well as the T2 station of the north extension section of Guangzhou Dongguan Shenzhen urban rail transit are connected to the transportation center, realizing the seamless connection of civil aviation, urban rail transit, subway and expressway, providing more convenience for tourists to transfer to various means of transportation.
Route network
At present, Baiyun Airport is the base airport of China Southern Airlines, Hainan Airlines, China Eastern Airlines, Shenzhen Airlines, Jiuyuan airlines, Zhongyuan Longhao airlines and Zhejiang Changlong airlines. It has established business relations with nearly 80 Chinese and foreign airlines, and its routes reach more than 230 navigation points at home and abroad, including more than 90 international and regional navigation points, and its route network is well developed Covering five continents of the world.
