Chongqing Wanli holding (Group) Co., Ltd. (formerly "Chongqing Wanli Battery Co., Ltd.", hereinafter referred to as "the company" and "the company") was formerly known as Chongqing battery factory. In 1982, with the approval of Chongqing Municipal People's government, Chongqing battery General Factory was established with this factory as the main body. In June 1992, Chongqing Wanli Battery Co., Ltd. was reorganized and established with the approval of Chongqing Economic System Reform Commission [1992] No. 115 document. In December 1993, with the approval of China Securities Regulatory Commission, the company was converted into a public offering company, which converted the original company's net assets into 34.1 million state shares, raised 12.4 million internal employee shares, and issued 15.5 million public shares to the public for the first time from February 16, 1994 to March 4, 1994.
