With the approval of the Secretariat of the Central Committee of the Communist Youth League, China Youth Industrial Development Corporation, an enterprise directly under the Central Committee of the Communist Youth League, and China Youth Development Foundation, initiated the establishment of Jiashi Industrial Co., Ltd. in 1997. In 1998, jiashitang Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd. was determined to be the main business of medicine, and its name was changed to jiashitang Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd. in 2003, the limited liability company was transformed into a joint-stock company and its name was changed to jiashitang Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd. The registered capital of the company is 29170712 yuan. On August 18, 2010, the company was listed on the SME Board of Shenzhen Stock Exchange under the name of jiashitang, stock code 002462.
The largest controlling shareholder of jiashitang pharmaceutical is China Youth Industrial Development Corporation. In January 2018, the Central Committee of the Communist Youth League and Everbright Group signed an agreement to transfer 100% of the state-owned property rights of China Youth Industrial Development Corporation to Everbright Group. The actual controller of the company was changed from the Central Committee of the Communist Youth League to China Everbright Group Co., Ltd. Other major shareholders are: Haidian real estate, China Association Hotel, Chaoyang SASAC, Central Huijin, shengfengshunye, Fangshan SASAC, Hongrun investment, etc.
China Everbright Group Co., Ltd. was set up by the Ministry of Finance and Huijin Company, with a shareholding ratio of 44.33% and 55.67% respectively. Everbright Group is a large-scale financial holding group covering banking, securities, insurance, fund, trust, futures, leasing, investment and environmental protection emerging industries.
