China Resources Shuanghe Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd. was founded in 1939 as a military pharmaceutical factory. It was born in Taihang Mountain revolutionary base and named Lihua pharmaceutical factory. In 1949, it moved to Beijing with the army and renamed Beijing pharmaceutical factory. It developed into a large state-owned comprehensive preparation enterprise of chemical drugs, laying the foundation of modern pharmaceutical industry in Beijing. In 1997, it was listed on Shanghai Stock Exchange and renamed Shuanghe Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd, Through the extension expansion, it has become a cross regional group based in Beijing and radiating all over the country. In 2010, with the former shareholder Beijing Pharmaceutical Group, it entered into the world's top 500 enterprise China Resources Group. In 2012, it changed its name to China Resources Shuanghe Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd., which is now the first profit center of China Resources Group and the pharmaceutical business platform of China Resources Pharmaceutical Group.
