Yangma Agricultural Machinery Co., Ltd. started as an engine and produced a practical small diesel engine in 1933. Since its inception, Yangma diesel engine has become a milestone product and is widely known. Relying on its own standards, Yangma diesel engine has been in the forefront of similar products in the market.

Yangma Agricultural Machinery Co., Ltd. is one of the four major agricultural machinery manufacturers in Japan. Yangma Agricultural Machinery Co., Ltd. was founded in March 1912 with a registered capital of 6.3 billion yen. It has a history of 96 years, and will celebrate its 100th birthday in 2012. The headquarters is located at 1-32 chawu CHO, Shibei District, Osaka.

Yangma Agricultural Machinery Co., Ltd. has a number of manufacturing bases, companies and parts distribution centers in Asia, Europe, North America and South America outside Japan. Its products cover engines (Marine and land), agricultural machinery, engineering machinery, generator sets and yachts. With the continuous expansion of Yangma's business, in 1961, the agricultural machinery division was independent from Yangma Diesel Engine Co., Ltd. and established Yangma Agricultural Machinery Co., Ltd., with a registered capital of 2 billion yen.

In 2007, Yanmar group's global sales reached 600 billion yen, of which the sales of agricultural machinery products were 230 billion yen, including tractors, combine harvesters, transplanter, vegetable machinery, bean machinery, cultivator and power sprayer. Yangma agricultural machinery division has three manufacturing factories, one technology research center and seven parts distribution centers in Japan, manufacturing bases in China, Indonesia, Thailand, South Korea, France and the United States, and supply companies in the United Kingdom.

The brand of "Yangma" has an unusual significance for the development of China's agricultural machinery industry: Yangma semi feeding combine is one of the earliest similar models to enter the Chinese market, and has established a Sino Japanese agricultural machinery joint venture.
