In 1999, ACL was established in Waigaoqiao Free Trade Zone of Shanghai as the headquarters of American practical power group in China. The establishment of ACL has accelerated the development of Enerpac in China, rapidly established a perfect product development, technical training, technical support, logistics system and distributor network covering all parts of the country, and set up offices in Beijing, Guangzhou and Chengdu.
In 2008, in order to increase investment and develop business in China, practical power China moved its headquarters to Taicang, Jiangsu Province, which is adjacent to Shanghai, and practical power (China) Industry Co., Ltd. was officially established. Practical power has more than 300000 square meters of plant in Taicang Economic Development Zone. The expansion of the headquarters will provide more thoughtful and meticulous services for the growing number of Enerpac users.
