Dalian Machine Tool Group Co., Ltd., founded in 1948, is one of the 18 Arhats in the national machine tool industry in the early days of the founding of the people's Republic of China. Since the reform and opening up, especially since the 10th five year plan, the enterprises have entered the track of rapid development by means of transforming traditional industries with information technology, taking a new road of industrialization, changing the mode of development, and carrying out large-scale technological transformation. The main products include: high-speed precision lathe, CNC lathe and turning and milling center, vertical and horizontal machining center and gantry machining center, modular machine tool and flexible automatic line, CNC functional parts and other five series of more than 500 varieties and specifications. Modular machine tools, automatic lines and flexible manufacturing system products are the first in China in terms of production and sales volume, with a domestic market share of more than 30% and leading technology level in China; five axis vertical machining center products, MDH high-grade horizontal machining center products and MDV high-grade vertical machining center products are of International advanced level; HDR horizontal machining center products, VDL and VDF series vertical machining center products are of international advanced level Domestic advanced level; IA series five axis linkage horizontal boring and milling machining center, BK series bridge gantry machining center, VX series gantry machining center have domestic leading level. By 2013, the leading products had won nearly 60 national, provincial and municipal awards for scientific and technological progress, and had 216 valid patents, including 38 invention patents.
