Mr. tsunezo Makino was founded in 1937, specializing in the production of type 1 vertical milling machine. Muye developed the first CNC milling machine in Japan in 1958 and the first machining center in Japan in 1966.

With a registered capital of 1 billion yen, the company was listed on the Tokyo first division and Osaka stock exchange in 1971.

In 1978, the company acquired the equal rights and interests of heidenreich & harbeck werkzeugmaschinefabrik of Germany, and put the locally produced Muye machine tools into the European market. In 1981, the company acquired American lebond machine tool company and changed its name to lebond Muye machine tool company, and quickly put the locally produced machine tools on the market to realize the localization of production and sales.

In 1980, Muye developed the first CNC EDM machine and DMS commercial automatic mold processing system and put them on the market.

Muye J company was founded in 1993. It mainly provides flexible production solutions for automobile, aviation and other professional processing fields.

Makino machine tool (China) Co., Ltd. is wholly owned by Singapore Makino machine tool Asia PTE. Ltd., which is a part of Makino group of Japan. Founded in May 1937, Makino group is a well-known enterprise specializing in manufacturing CNC metal processing machine tools and providing flexible processing innovation solutions in automobile, aviation and mold processing industries.
