Shaanxi Yulin Development and Reform Commission issued a notice on ensuring the completion of the 2021 annual energy consumption double control target tasks, and listed the key counties and urban areas to regulate the table of enterprises. The table requires Yulin electrolytic aluminum enterprises to suppress production by 50% in September, and the power supply department to restrict power control by 50%. East Asia Futures metals researcher Wang Yue said that Shaanxi Yulin has electrolytic aluminum production capacity of 600,000 tons, calculated by the suppression of 50%, running capacity down 300,000 tons.
