Hulamin, a South African aluminum supplier and exporter, recently said that its rolling and extrusion operations achieved notable results in the first half of 2021, with product sales up 43% and 58% year-on-year, respectively, despite the Covid-19 outbreak that has been hanging over the company.
Overall Hulamin Group sales increased by 44% to 102,000 tons and operating income by 50%.
For the second half of the year, Hulamin is targeting sales of 105,000 tons, when full-year production is expected to reach 200,000 tons in 2021.
