Recently, Donglight Technology Center has successfully developed a large-size alloy profile by breaking through the key process around the frontier technology of aluminum alloy profile.
This year, a key model project has put forward the demand for a larger cross-sectional area for this alloy profile, and the R&D department of the new product of Donglight faces a great challenge.
The R & D department of Donglight Technology Center combined the preliminary research base and experimental data, and fully considered the characteristics of large cross-section and small extrusion ratio to develop a complete extrusion process, overcoming the challenges of large cantilever and uneven flow rate during extrusion deformation, etc. By optimizing the die structure and die treatment process, the die stiffness and profile dimensions are guaranteed.
At present, the extruder has successfully extruded this profile, which is the largest aluminum alloy profile of this series produced by Dongying, achieving another innovative breakthrough.
In the next step, the Technology Center will conduct research on the toughening process of this profile, accelerate the transformation of the results, and lay the foundation for Donglight to move forward to the extruded material market.
