Luzhou natural gas chemical plant, formerly known as Luzhou natural gas chemical plant, was founded in 1959 in Naxi District, Luzhou city. Under the jurisdiction of Luzhou Tianhua group, there are 44 enterprises including Sichuan Lutianhua Co., Ltd. and other subsidiaries at all levels. At present, the total assets are 19.6 billion yuan, with 12300 on-the-job employees and 4800 retired employees. The income in 2014 is 4.984 billion yuan. Lutianhua group has formed a product structure dominated by basic chemical industry and supplemented by fine chemical industry. It is a major enterprise in Luzhou City, in which urea production capacity accounts for 40% of the whole province.
