It is a manufacturer and supplier of antimony products. The company's market share of antimony products accounts for 30% of the country and 25% of the world. It is the main R & D and export base of national antimony products, and its products are exported to more than 50 countries and regions such as Japan, the United States and Europe.

1、 Historical evolution

Located in Lengshuijiang City, Hunan Province, Xikuangshan Shanxing Antimony Industry Co., Ltd. was discovered in 1541. At that time, antimony was mistakenly recognized as tin, so it was named Xikuangshan, and has been used for a long time. In 1897, Xikuangshan antimony mine was officially mined. It is famous for its rich antimony resources, excellent quality and large output, and is known as the "antimony capital of the world". Before 1949, imperialist countries such as Britain, the United States, Germany and Japan successively carried out predatory mining, which made the mining area full of holes. In October 1949, the tin mine was liberated and the mineral resources were recovered to the state. In March 1950, according to the instructions of the central government, the Tin Mine Bureau was established to manage the exploration and mining of antimony in the tin mine area. In 1983, China National Nonferrous Metals Industry Corporation was established, and the tin mine bureau is under the management of China National Nonferrous Metals Industry Corporation. In 1998, it was affiliated to China rare earth group. In 2000, China rare earth group was dissolved and the Tin Mine Bureau was transferred to Hunan Province for management. In 2001, the Tin Mine Bureau was restructured into tin mine shining star antimony industry Co., Ltd. In 2004, in order to integrate Hunan nonferrous metals industry, Hunan provincial government established Hunan Nonferrous Metals Holding Group Co., Ltd. the assets of tin mine shining star antimony industry Co., Ltd. were transferred to Hunan Nonferrous Metals Holding Group and became a member unit of Hunan Nonferrous Metals Holding Group. In 2005, according to the H-share listing requirements, the main body of tin mine shining star antimony industry Co., Ltd., as the surviving company, became a wholly-owned subsidiary of Hunan Nonferrous Metals Co., Ltd. and its subsidiary business was spun off to establish Hunan Nonferrous tin mine asset management company, which is a subsidiary of Hunan Nonferrous Metals Holding Group. In December 2009, Hunan Nonferrous Metals Holding Group was affiliated to China Minmetals Corporation. In June 2012, in order to improve the company's market competitiveness, the company shut down and withdrew from the chemical industry. In 2016, in the face of severe economic situation and market competition, the company actively implemented the reform measures of "focusing on main business, separating auxiliary business, revitalizing assets, innovating mechanism, stimulating vitality and breaking through in blocks" according to the requirements of "returning to the essence of operation, improving quality and efficiency and deepening reform" of Minmetals Group, shut down and exited the zinc industry, reduced five secondary institutions, simplified 35 middle-level managers, and divided into three groups We have gradually established a modern enterprise system with excellent assets and efficient operation.

The business scope of the company includes antimony products, precious antimony containing gold and silver, copper by-products, etc. Its main products are antimony ingot, antimony trioxide, ethylene glycol antimony, antimony sulfide, sodium antimonate, dust-free antimony trioxide, nanometer antimony trioxide, golden antimony, etc., as well as flame retardant resin, rubber masterbatch, EVA masterbatch, PE masterbatch and PBT masterbatch. Others include the export business of self-produced products and related technologies, the import business of raw and auxiliary materials, machinery, equipment, instruments, meters, spare parts and related technologies for production and scientific research, the purchase of raw materials for production, the undertaking of Sino foreign joint venture, cooperative production and the business of "three sources and one supplement".

The company is the cradle of China's Antimony Industry and the birthplace of antimony production technology, with the current advanced level of antimony production technology and equipment. Antimony production technology has independent intellectual property rights. So far, it has won 70 science and technology awards at the provincial and ministerial level, 36 national invention patents, presided over the formulation and revision of 43 antimony related national and industrial standards, and participated in the formulation and revision of 13 antimony related national and industrial standards.

The company has researched and developed two generations of antimony trioxide production technology. The second generation technology, liquid free top blowing, has the advantages of good product quality, high production efficiency and high degree of automation. It can produce more than 20 new products such as ultra-fine antimony oxide, catalyst antimony oxide and ultra-fine high-purity antimony oxide, which makes the export of China's antimony products change from low-end to high-end. The lead removal technology invented by the company has solved the problem of antimony smelting in the world, opened up a broad prospect for the utilization of high lead antimony, and is a revolution in antimony smelting technology. In 2003, the rapid arsenic and selenium removal agent was invented to achieve the deep arsenic and selenium removal. Antimony Blast Furnace with oxygen enriched volatilization smelting process is still the world's largest antimony roughing metallurgical furnace. The National 863 Plan "research and demonstration of key technologies for comprehensive utilization of arsenic and alkali residue in antimony smelting" led by the company provides key common technologies for clean treatment of secondary arsenic and alkali residue in China's history.
