Plains GP Holdings

Plains GP holding company is engaged in transportation, storage, transshipment and trading of crude oil, refined oil and natural gas liquids (NGL). The company operates through three parts: transportation, facilities, supply and logistics.

The transportation part involves pipeline transportation of crude oil and NGL, collection system, trucks, and barges. As of December 31, 2013, the assets owned and leased include 16900 miles of active crude oil and NGL pipelines, and collection systems; 24 million barrels of active aboveground storage capacity; 744 trailers; 130 transport and storage barges, and 62 tugs.

The facility provides storage, transfer, and crude oil, refining, NGL, and natural gas huff and puff services; NGL fractionation and isomerization services; and natural gas and condensate processing services. As of December 31, 2013, this segment owned and operated about 74 million barrels of crude oil and refined oil storage capacity; 23 million barrels of NGL storage capacity; 97 billion cubic feet of natural gas storage capacity; 17 billion cubic feet of gas; 11 natural gas processing plants; 1 condensate stabilization facility; 7 fractionation plants; 24 crude oil and NGL rail transit stations; and 1250 miles of movable pipelines.

The supply and logistics segment involves business-related activities such as crude oil, cargo, NGL purchase; inventory and NGL storage; and resale or exchange, crude oil and gas transportation. As of December 31, 2013, it had 12 million barrels of crude oil and NGL line filling; 843 trucks and 982 trailers; and 7400 crude oil and NGL cars. PAA GP Holdings Limited is the general partner of the company. Plains GP group, founded in 2013, is headquartered in Houston, Texas.
