Shandong HongRi Chemical Co., Ltd. is located in the east section of Hubei Road, Luozhuang District, Linyi City, Shandong Province. It was founded in 1965. HongRi chemical currently covers an area of more than 1000 mu and employs more than 3000 people. It has an annual production capacity of 1 million tons of high concentration compound fertilizer, 600000 tons of sulfuric acid, 150000 tons of hydrochloric acid, 200000 tons of building gypsum powder, 100000 tons of powdery fertilizer and water-soluble fertilizer. It has an agrochemical service center and a provincial technology R & D center. At present, it is a domestic manufacturer of sulfur-based compound fertilizer with complete supporting facilities.

In 2002, Akon group of Russia, which plans to develop China's fertilizer market, acquired 58% of the equity of HongRi chemical, and established Shandong HongRi Akon Chemical Co., Ltd. with the approval of the Ministry of foreign trade and economic cooperation.

As time goes by, great changes have taken place. On August 3, 2016, Century Sunshine Group Holding Co., Ltd., a listed company in Hong Kong, accepted all the equity of HongRi Akon company held by Russian Akon company. The acquisition, so that "sunny day" as a well-known phosphorus and compound fertilizer industry national brand in 14 years after the return of China. On December 27, 2016, the name of Shandong HongRi Akang Chemical Co., Ltd. was changed to Shandong HongRi Chemical Co., Ltd.
