Bharat Petroleum

Bharat oil company (BPCL) is the second largest oil company in India, It is also the first state-owned enterprise in India with advanced information processing equipment and a leading position in information technology. Balat's predecessor is standard oil trust company, which was established in 1860. In the early stage, it merged with British Dutch Shell and Rothschilds to establish Asiatic oil company in India, and then cooperated with burmah oil company to establish burmah-shell oil reserve and distribution company in India Finally, in 1976, it was nationalized into Bharat oil company.
