Central Japan electric power company is a power company with the business scope of central Japan. It was founded in 1951. Its main business is the production and transmission of electric power, providing electric power services for 16.6 million people in five counties in central Japan. It is the third largest power company in Japan.
It has been 15 years since the signing of bilateral technical exchange agreement between central Japan electric power company and central China Power Grid Co., Ltd. in 1991. According to the agreement between the two sides, in 2005, the central power company of Japan sent a delegation to visit Huazhong Power Grid Co., Ltd. to exchange views on the power market, development planning, power marketing, energy conservation and environmental protection, electricity price policy, etc., and signed the fourth five-year technical exchange agreement with Huazhong Power Grid Co., Ltd. on October 11.
