Zhonghao Chenguang Chemical Research Institute Co., Ltd. was established in 1965 when it moved to Sichuan. It was transformed into a science and technology enterprise in 1999. It is an important base for R & D and production of polymer synthetic materials in China. Now it is a wholly-owned enterprise of China National Chemical Corporation, with total assets of 2.3 billion yuan and more than 3000 employees.

Chenguang Institute is a backbone enterprise engaged in the development and production of new chemical materials and a supporting unit for national defense and military industry. It is mainly engaged in the research, development, production and operation of new organic fluorine and organic silicon chemical materials.
