Xinjiang Haoyuan Natural Gas Co., Ltd., formerly known as Aksu Haoyuan Natural Gas Co., Ltd., was established in February 2006 and completed the joint-stock reform in September 2010. The company was listed on the SME Board of Shenzhen Stock Exchange on September 21, 2012 (Stock Code: 002700).

The company is located at the foot of Tomur peak at the southern foot of Tianshan Mountain and the northern edge of the upper reaches of Tarim River. It is known as Aksu City, which is "the land of fish and rice, the land of melons and fruits". The company has 1 holding subsidiary, 5 branches and 10 departments in the headquarters. At the end of 2014, it had more than 500 employees.

The company's main natural gas transmission and distribution, sales and home installation business. At present, the business has covered Aksu City, Wushi County, Awati County, akezhou Aheqi County, Kashi Bachu County, Aksu textile industrial city (Development Zone), Aksu economic and Technological Development Zone, Baicheng heavy chemical industry park and some cities in Gansu Province.

Tarim Basin, where the company is located, is rich in oil and gas resources. The total amount of proven natural gas resources has reached 10 trillion cubic meters, which is the source area of China's "west to East Gas Transmission" project. The main gas source of the company comes from Yingmaili Gas Field of PetroChina Tarim Oilfield Branch. In 2014, the company successfully connected the pipeline of Nanjiang natural gas Limin project (ring tower pipeline), providing the company with the second gas source. At present, the company has formed two complementary modes of gas sources, providing stable supply support for serving local users.

By the end of 2014, the company had 148 kilometers of long-distance natural gas pipelines, 233 kilometers of urban high and medium pressure municipal pipelines, 7 gate stations, 1 CNG master station, 16 CNG filling stations, 21 CNG transporters and 12 tractors.
