Dalian oil chemical factory has a history of more than 100 years. It was founded in 1913 and was called "Dalian oil factory of Manchuria Oil Co., Ltd". According to records, in 1916, Dalian oil chemical plant was officially put into operation. At that time, there were three production workshops in the plant, including spot solution workshop and hardening oil workshop in addition to the core soap workshop. Products include soap, hydrogen, oxygen, hardening oil four varieties. In 1945, Japan surrendered and the people of Dalian were liberated. The factory was taken over by the Ministry of industry of the Red Army of the Soviet Union and was renamed "Dalian No.4 oil factory". After the founding of new China, it was officially transferred to the Northeast Chemical Industry Bureau of China and renamed "Dalian oil chemical factory".
