Beijing Gas Group Co., Ltd

Beijing Gas Group Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "gas group") is a wholly state-owned company established in September 1999. In order to promote the marketization process of gas group and build a capital city infrastructure construction investment and financing platform, Beijing Municipal People's Government reorganized Jingtai group and gas group to establish Beijing holding group in 2005, and gas group became a direct subordinate enterprise of Beijing holding group. On December 31, 2006, the pipeline natural gas business and non pipeline natural gas business of the former gas group were separated, and the separated gas group became a company mainly engaged in urban pipeline natural gas business. In May 2007, Beijing Gas Group successfully listed its assets in Hong Kong.

At present, the headquarters of the gas group has 21 functional departments, 7 branches, 8 professional institutions, 8 wholly-owned subsidiaries and 19 controlling and participating companies.

At present, Beijing Gas Group is the largest single city gas supplier in China. The scale of pipe network, number of gas users, annual gas consumption and annual sales revenue are among the top in China. In 2015, the supply of natural gas was 13.854 billion cubic meters, and there were about 6.6 million pipeline gas users inside and outside Beijing, running 22800 kilometers of natural gas pipelines. Beijing has become a city with annual purchase and sales of natural gas exceeding 10 billion cubic meters in China, ranking third in the world. The application scope of natural gas has also developed from civil cooking to industry, heating, refrigeration, power generation, gas vehicles, distributed energy and many other fields.
