Guangzhou Gas Group Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "Guangzhou Gas Group") is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Guangzhou Development Group Co., Ltd. Its predecessor is Guangzhou Gas Engineering preparation office, which was established in 1975. In 1983, it was officially renamed Guangzhou Gas Company. On January 16, 2009, Guangzhou Gas Co., Ltd. was reorganized into Guangzhou Gas Group Co., Ltd. after its establishment system was transferred to the original Guangzhou Development Group, and was officially listed on July 2, 2009. In July 2012, as a high-quality asset, Guangzhou Gas Group injected into the listed company Guangzhou development, and successfully realized the asset listing.

The business scope of the enterprise mainly involves the construction and management of gas pipe network and facilities, investment, operation, design, construction, supervision and technical consultation of gas projects, installation, maintenance and testing of gas appliances, wholesale and retail of (gas) and natural gas filling.

At present, the headquarters of Guangzhou Gas Group has 12 functional departments; three regional branches, East, West and south, are set up to take charge of regional integrated business operation; high pressure operation branch is set up to take charge of high-pressure pipeline engineering construction and high-pressure pipe network operation management; two business centers of dispatching and service are set up; six wholly-owned subsidiaries, one holding subsidiary and one joint-stock subsidiary are set up There are 3 joint-stock companies and 12 business offices.
